Boundary Type 3

Next I gathered my troops and we headed to Los Angeles to go to the San Andreas fault which is a transform boundary.  The San Andreas is a big fault line going across Los Angeles and echo park in particular.  Below is a picture from above of the San Andreas Fault:
Above that is a picture of what is happening when the plates underneath are moving.
It shows the plates moving towards each other and rubbing against each other.  This motion causes earthquakes.

Tectonic Plate Boundary Type 2

We hopped on a long and exhausting plane ride to go find a convergent plate boundary.  It took us all the way to South America to the Nazca plate and the South American Plate.  The Nazca plate is being subducted by the South American Plate.  This makes them crash into each other and that is a convergent plate boundary.  This is a picture of the subduction:

This  photo above the first photo is a close up on what is happening:

Tectonic Plates Boundary One

The first place we wen to was Iceland.  I always thought it would be icy but it is green all around.  We went to the Álfagjá rift valley which is part of a boundary between Eurasian and North America Tectonic plates.  Over the boundary
is a bridge and it was a very cool architectural design.  My friend Bobby was messing around on it and fell off into the sand below.  He broke both legs and a few ribs.  He had to get emergency evacuated in a chopper.  While this set us back it didn't stop us from learning.  What was going on with the plates on this boundary is shown in picture on the bottom;  The divergent plate boundary is when the plates slide away from each other.

Introduction

Hi,
It's Will B here and I just got back from an amazing trip around the world looking at the boundaries fro tectonic plates.  I I was traveling with some of my college friends to learn.  This adventure took us all over the world learning new things.  During our trip we learned a lot and some crazy things happened that would change our lives.

This is a fictional tour!
