The first place we wen to was Iceland. I always thought it would be icy but it is green all around. We went to the
Álfagjá rift valley which is part of a boundary between Eurasian and North America Tectonic plates. Over the boundary
is a bridge and it was a very cool architectural design. My friend Bobby was messing around on it and fell off into the sand below. He broke both legs and a few ribs. He had to get emergency evacuated in a chopper. While this set us back it didn't stop us from learning. What was going on with the plates on this boundary is shown in picture on the bottom; The divergent plate boundary is when the plates slide away from each other.
